Sebastian is someone who is acquainted with God, and someone who cares as God cares. He says William can be a source of salvation and peace for her. Beautifully

As you see Roy, I can't even write creepy ghostly stuff with out leaving a message with the crowd. I just happens that way.... and I hope someone finds the message and takes it to heart. These two chapters of kindness and the love of God weren't planned...but I am sure glad they happened.
Thanks so much, Roy.

Another fine chapter. How well you've woven the idea of redemption into a ghost story! It is especially effective as you describe the ghosts becoming dimmer, or glowing, according to their mood. I find that especially enchanting.
I sense we're coming to a major turning point here! (But it's okay to--you know--eat, sleep a little... I can wait!)

Thanks so much for stopping by and enjoying another chapter... And thanks for the congratulations on my 150 word life story too. Even my son asked me how I could cram it all into those few words. Just highlights!!!

I have one question, and that's how do you find a ghost who doesn't want to be found. No, it doesn't really have anything to do with your story, I don't guess. But I'm guessing the best way to to say "Boo" and scare William from behind the bushes. :-) Thanks for sharing.

Victoria bamboozled poor William, supposedly a member of the mob. Wonder if she was responsible for the first murder...after that treasure. thanks so much as always

Ah, everything is coming together, including all the prior relationships and the betrayals and the need for redemption. It makes sense that Esther would be the key to changing the circumstances so that everyone would be free from purgatory. I feel like the book is wrapping up quickly!

I hope this came out alright. Leading up to Esther and Madeline, it was a crazy mezz. It still is but at least we have an idea which way we are headed. Thanks so much, Helen.

This is a very well written chapter. I wish I had six stars to give you, but don't have any right now. Great dialogue between Esther and Madeline and then Sebastain. Getting very interesting. love and blessings, Teri

This plot continues to thicken. I am really liking this story. I am happy to read.
Esther sighed, "Thanks to you --" (sighed.)
Esther laughed, "Sorry, but are you (laughed.)

Wow, Barbara, I didn't expect you to catch this chapter today as well. Thank you so much. I'm glad that you are enjoying it. Some feel I have made the ghosts too humanlike, but its the only way I could write it. If they want gore, I guess I'm not the writer. LOL Thanks again.

I start at the beginning and work backwards. I may never get to the end. LOL

Another strong chapter. I like how you reveal more about the complexities of Esther and Madeline's past lives. The dynamic between Esther and Sebastian also adds an interesting layer to the story. Sebastian's mission to unravel the mysteries surrounding William's ramblings and the hidden treasure brings a sense of urgency to the writing. Again, another strong chapter. Well done!

Thank you so much Michael for reading another chapter in this story and for such kind comments. I am thrilled that you enjoyed it so far. Now we have to follow the clues and maybe tussle with a few more ghosts.
