We definitely have a ghostly version of As the World Turns! They've brought all their drama into the afterlife. Your writing, as always, is excellent, but I feel we are wandering far from Sandra as the unwilling heir. Of course, I do not know your future plans, but just thought I'd mention that feeling.
Brilliant character development!

She was just with the guys searching for the key and also in the study learning exactly why she was called to the mansion in the first place. Now after the scenes are set and everyone is searching for the treasure she will find herself deep in the bowels of the mansion...for better or worse.

I guess I meant more the focus, she seems on the sidelines. But that's fine! I cannot wait to get to the bowels of the mansion. Shivery!!

She is a bit...probably because after the trouble I had in the first few chapters, the storyline changed from the original and I have been trying to work around it. My bad!

Ahhhh. My name in print. I am following the story and enjoying all the twists and turns. Having been out of town for a week didn't help a bit, I missed a chapter or two and need to re-read them. Do your characters develop and evolve as you write? Or do you outline them before you start and create the story from the characters? Esther

I discover the story line as I am writing and then put it on the computer for you. I do sketch a few notes for a chapter or two as I think out where I am headed, but many times that changes as I am typing it. I wouldn't know how to outline an entire story...my thoughts change to often. Hope you try to catch up so you know what is happening. There's been two new characters as well.

So seat of the pants develops plot as you go. I was reading Jenkins "Writing for the Soul". I like it. Esther

that's me all the way...And yes I was thinking of you when I needed a new character. Hope you enjoy her.

I hope Billy goes in. If she believes she can get William back from wherever it was she sent him to when she hit him, and still get the hidden treasure as well, then there really is no hope that Victoria is going to change. Oh what a maze of intrigue you have cast in this amazing story, Carol! I can't wait to read on!! Well done, again!! Love and hugs, my friend. Sandra xxx

I've been sitting here on the edge of my seat, praying for you to come on and read this chapter. There was and is a lot going on, and one or two mentioned I had too many characters, so I was worried about adding Sebastian, too. I can't have the same people doing things over and over. I am glad you enjoyed the chapter. Thank you, as always.
