A lovely take on the two line poem. Both your internal and ending rhymes flow effortlessly carrying a beautiful sentiment.
I wish you luck in the contest.
Thank you.

Thanx so much, Shirley! Apologies for the delay, but life has definitely happened in my neck of the woods and I'm just finding a bit of a footing here... Hopefully, things will be more consistent 'round the new homestead! Take care and have a great remainder of the week! :-) :-)

We can remain broken or we can become like the sun and make a new dawn for ourselves going forward. I enjoyed your two line poem, it's written with the emotions of someone who knows. Good luck in the contest.
Cheers

This is just what I needed today. The last of my five brothers passed on Monday. Thank goodness I have my faith. I don't know how folks do it without God in their life. Beautifully written and illustrated in two line poetry, my friend.
Sending you my best today as always, and my very best wishes in the upcoming contest. Sal Xoxo

Amen! Great job with your essence poem with rhymes broken/token and shining/divining. And you've packed a spiritual message into this as God's guidance shines through when we need Him most. Best wishes in the contest!

Yvette! Good to hear from you! No worries - about the delay. I have been so busy since moving and we are more active in church and our community so finding time for FS is hard. Take your time and hope you can reconnect with all your old buddies here. Robyn has disappeared after April so I hope you see her in person now and then!

So true. Regrets can hold us back. We need to look forward through the windshield and not backwards at the rear view mirror. Dawn of a new day - embrace it.
