Yes, that is their cycle, and it is also ours, as we move through life, at times plunging to the depths of despair, and then rising again with the help of the gift of love. A lovely thought, and well expressed in your Lune. Best wishes for the contest.

Perhaps the last line should read
(from) the clouds above)
It's just a thought, I enjoyed your rainy lune for the contest and wish you luck, rain is something the British are very familiar with, love Dolly x x x

I suppose the apparent contradiction in your Lune poem could be explained by the water cycle of precipitation ==> evaporation ==> condensation...
There, I had to engage my brain to make sense of your poem - perhaps that is what poetry is all about!

Great job with your lune. It also speaks to me about our ephemeral existence on Earth. Yet after our transitory lives, we too will ascend above to be with the Lord. Best wishes in the contest!

That's a wonderful, but literal analogy, the evaporation and the cloud formations are the washing machine that Cleans the water and returns it to the earth, beautifully written dear friend, good luck, blessings Roy

You have found a poetic way to describe the water cycle! I like the dichotomy of falling and ascending. You fit a lot into a very brief poetic format.
It probably doesn't really matter, but the point of a lune poem is that it looks like a crescent moon, so aligned either to the left or to the right, not centered.
Nicely done! Julie.

Thank you, Julie, and yes, I think it matters, as I have learned something today, (actually on this site I learn everyday) I aligned to the left and it looks great, as always very much appreciated****kahpot
