I think this is a beautiful portrait of one waking to another new day - "just the way I left you" - in which he can rejoice for the many blessings he has received.
I like: As sunrays touch blinking eyes, sun warmed floor touches heels. This is a possible moment from anyone's morning.

I did enjoy reading your poem, You made awakening to a new sunny morning seem so refreshing even with our world in a state of turmoil and corruption each and every day. Your attempt to make everyone's day a
little brighter deserves an exceptional rating.
If I could make a few suggestions they would be to shorten your line metre (length) and try a 4 line stanza poem using the rhyme scheme that you prefer.
Also, your picture selection for this piece matched your words perfectly. I've discovered over many years of posting that your picture selection is what attracts most readers to your work.

I live in the countryside so I get to see all the wonders you describe in your opening lines.
Not sure how people who live cramped in a city can appreciate the sunlight, clean air, the trees, the breeze, the birds, etc.
Life still has its ups and downs but nothing to compare to those living under the bombs like in Ukraine and Gaza.
My health is okay (touching wood), and I have my pine forests and chestnut woods to soothe my inner soul.
Yes, I'm a lucky lass and have lots to thank God for.

We have bears here in Italy and wild boar too .
Soon the barn swallows will be returning from Africa , I?m excited.

I belong to an early morning prayer group, that is very lively, very loving and focussed in its goals, but in myself I find the shopping list of loved ones and personal relational needs are a different matter.
