There is something just so captivating about Echo trying to discover what is happening, having true dreaming about the entities she will help or fight, and then being summoned by a screaming rabbit.

Carol, thank you so much for the six stars. Here it is mid-week, and you still have some. Good for you, and thank you for sharing with me and this book.
Echo definitely has some challenges ahead, from specters, people and animals, though this rabbit is a good guy.
Take care,
Rhonda

Another fine chapter, Rhonda-----and Echo had a great ability to remember her dreams, unlike me; although I'm grateful I don't. My day reality is frightening enough

Hi Mike. Thank you for reading and commenting. My husband doesn't remember dreams, either. I can't seem to escape them, lol. If I've got to have nightmares, so does Echo, lol.
Take care,
Rhonda

I can't wait to see what Echo's mission is about, and exactly what those dreams meant. I do with Theo was around to assist her. I do hope in some way there will be communication, so she stays on the right path. I really like this story.

Hi Barbara,
Thank you so much for your review and comments. Echo is going to have to wing it for the time being, but she'll get support from his extensive family. He comes from good stock.
Take care, my friend,
Rhonda

Love the dialogue. You have some solid exchanges that help me get into the characters. You have dialogue and know how to use it! LOL. Awe, I wish I could go by the sun. I have too many clocks around the house. I'm starting fall for the world you created. Aka. C.S Lewis.

Stan, thank you so much for the six stars and for reviewing. I know fantasy isn't your area of comfort, but I so appreciate your comments about it.
Thank you for remarking on the dialogue. My challenge has always been to fill in the blanks between the talking. I have to stop and make myself add details for setting.
Thanks again, my friend,
Rhonda

That's an amazing image isn't it and it draws the reader right in to this mysterious, mythical world that Echo finds herself in. The dream sequence is a clever intervention to instill self-belief and a desire to fulfill destiny, as is the advice from Mary. We're still aware of Echo's very human doubts and insecurities and we needed the credibility of these influences. Small edits: Begin(n)ing of new chapter; we just aren't (im)prisoned by it. Well done, Rhonda, on another excellent chapter with Echo's magical experience and always a degree of humour (last sentence). Take care, Debbie

Hi Debbie!! Thank you for the lovely review, and finding the spag. A lot of people noticed the imprisoned, lol. Boy did I mess that one up, lol.
Thank you for finding the humor along with the adventure.
Hugs,
Rhonda

Oh, I'm so glad I saved a six for this enthralling chapter! I'm so excited for Echo! It's finally happening. Actually, I feel Theo has been a part of her destiny all along. I can't imagine her without him and vice versa. The dream was frightening though. I think it was one of the spectres. I had to be. They know a princess in the making when they see one.
Typo: enprisoned. Should be imprisoned. I type this word a lot writing crime fiction. LOL!
Splendid chapter, my friend! I'm so looking forward to the next!
Sending you my best today as always, dear Rhonda, and love and blessings across the bridge.

Hi Sally!!
Thank you so much for granting your coveted sixth star to me. That was sweet and encouraging.
Awww, you were close on who it was in her dream, but think bigger!
I'm glad you liked the chapter. I'll start working on the next one!
Much love and respect across the bridge, dear lady!!

Hi, Rhonda!! I'm not sure if you remember me, but way back in 'the day,' we read each other's posts all the time.
I must say, your writing has come a long way since then. The words flow, and the characters intrigued me.
I especially loved this line, 'Once they had eaten heartily and talked long,'
Looking forward to more,
~Mustang~

Hi Mustang. Indeed, I do remember you!! I will have to check out what you have going on as well. I'm glad to see you back. I was on a bit of a break for several years, but have been very active lately. Not as much as I used to be as I'm raising a toddler (since she was 6 weeks old), taking care of an elderly mother-in-law, and teaching 6 different science classes. Still, I'm back, and I'm glad to see you are, too.
Hugs,
Rhonda

Magical yet frightening at the same time. I'm sure Echo was meant to learn something from the dreams, but what and is she able to do anything about it. And the rabbit....where is he leading her and what lies ahead? All kinds of questions about the adventure that lies ahead.
Smiles, Carol

Hi Carol, thank you for reading and reviewing. Echo will use some of what she saw in her dream, but other parts were imposed on her. Definitely, the adventure is on.
Take care,
Rhonda

Can't wait to see what she does. Echo has nothing but possibilities now. You have built us up to this point. You enjoy your week and good luck writing Echo's trials. Karen

Those dreams are ominous. Will Echo be able to communicate with Theo somehow. It sounds like she'll face some danger as she follows the rabbit. At least, the rabbit wants her to follow unlike Alice's rabbit.
It's funny that Poseidon appears to her in the dream and when she wakes up, it's a rabbit named Neptune, the Roman version of Poseidon!
Suggestions unless this is intentional for the speech
enprisoned ( imprisoned)
"Me either," Mary said. (neither)

Hi Helen,
Thank you for your review. I appreciate your comments and for keeping up.
Funny about Alice's rabbit, true, this one wants to be followed!!
The connection between Poseidon and the rabbit, Neptune was intentional. Actually, Hannah has 12 rabbits, all named with their Roman names. She'll talk about it later.
I fixed the spag, thanks so much for finding it.
Hugs,
Rhonda
