I enjoyed this in-depth 5-7-5 as children make these marks on the snow and hope to fly into the future, a fine presentation for the contest, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

This is a very nice poem. Very nice picture of a snow Angel. Your 5-7-5 syllable count is on point for this writing prompt. Each line connects well with the next. Nice job.

I like the implication that as children grow, so too is their developing ability to spread their wings and soar into adulthood and their individual place in the world.
You have used a charming childhood game to illustrate the point.

A pristine thought that bears the truth!
Angels dwell among us...
Your image confirms it...
Surely their imprint in the snow is a reminder we are never alone!

This is a beautifully written ode to winter. I Love your photo. I remember making angels in the snow as a child. I loved it. It was a nice memory. Good luck in the contest. Hope you do well.

Those beautiful snow angels that appear each winter on lawns and backyards across America, grow larger and larger as delighted children grow. You chose the perfect representative of a winter scene and expressed it in vivid imagery. Your chosen picture pairs perfectly and intensifies your message. Best wishes in the contest.

This made me wish I was a kid again, having fun in the snow! In my case, the angels not only got bigger, but wider. Hope this wings its way to a win for you!

I love how much this expresses for such a short poem! It almost makes me feel like it's told from the perspective of a mother, watching her children, and therefore, their snow angels, grow winter after winter.

This was a good winter 5-7-5 poem. You got the syllable count right, and I liked the sentiment of wings stretching. Your formatting of the text gave it that "angelic" feel. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.

This may be a hard entry to beat in the contest, touching a universal observation shared by parents and grandparents towards snow angels. Simple and effective with a good picture and font, this works well without overdoing it, blending symbolism with the realism of growing up.
