Nothing makes me happier than when you write those scenes with Miranda talking to herself in the mirror. There isn't anything more humanizing for a character. Not that Miranda's character needs any more humanizing.

I guess Waylon's hormones got a fix at the movies with Momma! Ha! Funny scene. Best, JohnC

Thank you John. There is one thing I have missed and that is Miranda and her humorous approach to life. I appreciate this nice review. Gretchen

Thank you. Yes, Miranda will either have an epiphany or a break down. Gretchen

More great Miranda storytelling. Keep it coming. It will be interesting to see what she decides about telling Waylon about his Dad. I still like reading your stuff.

Thank you. I think she going to be quiet for a while. But who knows. I really thank you for the six and the great review. Gretchen

Excellent. Yes, her predicament is quite awkward. but she has had her little iscussion and she will go ahead and do what she knows to be best. Aaron has made things very awkward for her, and for their friendship - he does seem quite immature.

Aaron is very immature. He's afraid of failure so he quits before he gets to that point. Thank you for this. Gretchen

Hello Gretchen,
whatever makes you think that men are interested in boobs? Really, it's not our fault. If your stomach stuck out further than the rest of your body, it would be noticed too, although without the same degree of delight. I'm almost seventy two, and while it would seem that we would out grow the desire, it hasn't happened yet. It's like seeing a beautiful flower or sunset, you have to look and admire. Great chapter gal. I loved the dialogue with the mirror. Well done.
Have a blessed day.
Tom

Lol. I know it doesn't change. I've seen very old men at retirement homes who are as lecherous as anything. I always appreciate your reviews. Go ahead and admire those Boobs. Just don't get caught doing it. Wink, wink. Gretchen

    Hi Gretchen,
there is a condition that boys are born with. It's a natural condition that comes when they first see mom as dinner, and then later even though there isn't a desire to feed per se', the thought that they are right there, poking out of blouses and sweaters is just too much to resist. I think the Latin name is Boobulus, Eyeballus, Gravationalus. Basically, through no fault of our own, our eyes are drawn to the bosoms of women. I can't speak for all men of course. Some guys possibly possess an uncommon amount of self restraint, but I'm not one of them. I don't know if gay fellows are inclined to look or not. I almost purchased a pair of X-ray specs once from the back of a comic book. As a twelve year old, the thought that I could see through clothes was titillating. I never did buy them though. Even as a kid, I figured they couldn't work, no matter how badly I wished they did.
    Blessings,
    Tom

I'm still laughing over the convertation Miranda had with the mouthy broad in the mirror. I guess we'll learn more about what the truth is about Dougie. I feel a little sorry of Aaron laying his heart out like that, but I though Miranda handled it well without hurting him to badly.

Aaron is easily manipulated. Miranda planted the seed that he knew she wasn't right him. He'll soon agree with her. Lol. Thank you. Gretchen

Yay for the boo... uh, nevermind.
Nice chapter.
Great gimmick (tool/device) using the mirror as a character for dialogue.
And you are prob'ly right about the 'pulse' thing. (smiley face here)

I have two sons, 40 years old and 22 years old. Both are enamored with them. Husband ... same. Brother, nephews, brother in laws ... same. Not my first rodeo. Lol. Great and humorous review. Thank you. Gretchen

Miranda sure has her troubles. She has three males to worry about and none of them are the guy she is in love with. Aaron is a nice guy but not the one for her. Dougie is a disaster waiting to destroy her relationship with her favorite guy, Waylon, who is maybe his son, although he feels like he is her beloved son. Good character development.

Thank you. No matter what she does about Waylon, she isn't going to come out smelling like a rose. You rarely do in real life. Great review. Thank you. Gretchen
