Lol. That's kids. They seem to know ahead who they will like and who they won't. My guess is they'll end up good friends.... I chuckled at your first bit as it reminded me of Miss Two the other day, after I was brushing her hair. Then she wanted to brush my hair too, so I let her have a go. Next minute she calls out "Scissors!"
Looking forward to hearing how their dayat the beach goes.

You've set up a real challenge here for Heddy. She has to be nice to a person she doesn't know and he is a BOY who acts kind of odd. Since she talks to her dead grandmother, he also might think she is kind of odd.

At the beach for the summer. Yee haw, even at my age, one mention of the beach and my imagination runs wild. I start thinking about all the things I can get into. Of course, there won't be any little hotties there for a week or two. And who would hire me now to work for the summer. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

Interesting chapter. It seems Heddy's mother wants her daughter to learn how to get along with people her own age, and perhaps develop more social skills. A nice woman.
