Ah...."tale as old as time....). (Borrowing from Beauty and the Beast)

Pregnant! As if "protection" would be harder to get one's hands on than vapes or oxy!

Sadly, I can't say this doesn't ring true.

There are a whole lot of kids running circles around any mild attempt to discipline them.

This is going to get interesting!

one little funny character jumped in here:

*
"But Nat â?" I didn't think you had enough money yet."

Oxy! For arthritis! I wish my doc were more empathic!

Life is a challenge but beats the alternative, so we keep on swimming in the deep end...

This certainly comes to a dramatic moment. You might name who is speaking in a few more times but otherwise the only other problem I see is the word misplaced is not spelled missed placed. These girls do sound very like modern teens and you have done a good job of beginning to separate their characters and make them more individual.

Thanks, Carol. Three friends with different thoughts on life and different paths to walk. Thanks for pointing out my error and for reading the story. I appreciate it very much.

These are very well written chapters. What a surprise that she is pregnant. That is something most girls do not want to hear. You used very good descriptive words and very good dialogue. I look forward to the next chapter. love and blessings, Teri

It willl be a rocky road for Gabby and later for her friends. I believe Gabby will make the right choices but it won't be easy. As for Natasha, she believes the world is her oyster and she deserves to have what ever she wants. Sad!

What a bombshell this is. Gabby is pregnant. This will them a very different kind of Three Musketeers. I saw the movie before and loved it. I can't wait to read your version.

Well done.

"Three heads are better than one." Uh, well, sometimes that might be right. But other times three heads might get you into three times as much trouble. At least that was the way it was when I was young. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

Just used my last six on your last chapter! But this one was just as worthy. I thought Gabby must be pregnant. So Natasha and Becky are stealing and dealing drugs. And Isabella is an easy prey for their theft of her jegitimate drugs. Yes, I can see why Nat is annoyed when her grandmother confronts her! Your writing skills make this an engrossing story, but a very sad one, because it's based on fact.

Edit: " ... she missed placed them." (misplaced)
