You've captured that forelorn feeling of unrequited or perhaps lost love that just refuses to let go no matter how hard you try. Beautiful word-smithing and a gorgeous presentation.

That would be tough. To love someone so much. Then to know that it isn't returned or has changed. Trying to forget but knowing you can't forget. That the love you feel has become a part of who you are. Gretchen

Amazing poem. This poem proves why you have the poet ranking spot that you do. The flow and structure of your writing mixed with the picture you used is just so beautiful.

Such a great title. Not to mention the beautiful coloring that matches the peacock lady at the top.
This is another exquisite production from your incredible mind. Thank you for sharing.

I can remember my first ever love was positively intoxicating, I thought when we split I would never forget, and I never really have, I'm just glad we weren't destined to be a couple. Beautifully written my friend, happy new year, blessings Roy

Yes, it's hard to forget the first love. Mine lives in Spain and I sometimes wonder what happened to him.
Thank God, Roy (*=*)

Hi MariVal,
such a powerful hit of emotions. The intensity builds the narrative in an addictive form of love... and I just love that sweet refrain of... ' so I forget to forget you' and with the magic ending of 'I would forget to forget you'.
If composing words of any genre is about bleeding on the page... you my dear Gypsy Queen are in an urgent need of a blood transfusion.
Stunningly beautiful in presentation, composition and construction.
You just blew my mind my most talented friend!
With our thoughts we create...
an addiction of our love.
Warmest regards,
James.

I do bleed on the page a lot, don't I. LoL it's my darn Spanish passionate blood.
When my son was little, I used to donate blood because I have a rare type.... A negative. And once he told me, "they really like your Spanish blood" hahaha... kids!
Passionate Love IS intoxicating and I am terribly addicted. I need a PLA meeting. (Passionate lovers anonymous) hehe
Tonight I was accused to write 'lusty Japanese poetry " as if Japanese are the only ones that can feel passion. I don't think my poems are "lustfull" oh well, I can't please everyone so I will please myself.
As always, it feels like you can read my mind. Are you?
Thank you very much for your exceptional six stars review, darling.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend and if we don't cross paths before the end of the year, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
Con cariņo
Marival

This is a very beautifully worded form that you have written. It's a little longer than you normally write but it's very nicely done. I enjoyed listening to it and I enjoyed your presentation very much. Patricia.

Your poem shows the illogical intensity of a love that has become an infatuation. What soaring peaks and hideous depths such strong emotions can cause. A fine poem.
