A fine Rondelet Pam and there is nothing quite like home. We just love to spend time with family and enjoy our home comforts. A fine, well rhymed poem full of good rhymes and metre. I hope Sandra recovers from this illness and can go home for Christmas, love Dolly x x x

Hi Pam,
I'm glad people are leaving more poems and thoughts for Sandra. It was a beautiful way to offer her faith and hope. It's a rough time of year to be sick, and a rough time of year for loss.
Hugs for Sandra,
Rhonda

Thanks for the review, Lea. I appreciate your comments about faith. Everyone has his or her view. I am glad you liked the poem and good wishes for the holiday. The secret to rhyme is rhymezone.com. It would be very difficult to do some of these forms without it. It is also valuable for many other things, like synonyms, antonyms, and more. We had a good holiday and hope you did too.

Thanks for the review, Helen. I appreciate your comments about the poem and loving thoughts, as well as the form. You inspired me to try it. It is very difficult to write these kinds of poems. Yours worked well so I used it, too. It is important to let people know what is going on, and you do a great job with that, too.

Sometimes you write so simply and plainly and then you suddenly you turn out something like this, complex in its imagery, ideas and structure. Great stuff. Loved reading this. Well done. X

Thanks for the review. I appreciate your comments about my writing. I think a lot of us are that way. The longer we are on the site, the more we learn. I am glad you liked this. It means a lot, and it is special for Sandra, as well.

I love how you describe your heart as a warm refuge/home from the coldness of the outside. As crazy as it might sound, this is true. If we are truly happy, it won't matter what ANYONE says about us, as all that matters is how we are feeling. Christmas is a perfect time to ease the pain and suffering that people are going through.

No problem, Pam. It seems Sandra isn't the only fanstorian who needs prayers this Christmas season. Jesse James Doty is recovering from neck surgery and Paul Manton is still fighting and infection.
Merry Christmas
