I love all the baseball references you worked into your poem, especially those at the end. It's nice you called John a teammate and friend. Another difficult biographical poem, well done! I already knew that John plays football with his neighbors, but I didn't know he was a Jets fan. I like the Giants, myself. But we're both sports fans.
I also didn't know he plays the banjo. He's a lot like me... sports, playing an instrument, married over 40 years.

Wow, Mary, you knew what a Mummers was? I had never of it before I wrote John?s poem. Thats pretty cool. So did you have someone march in one? I?m impressed. Thanks for all the kind words for John and his poem.
