Another excellent chapter with skilful dialogue and humour and, seemingly, eliminating Bill from any suspicion. I lok forward to the next chapter. Thanks for sharing, Gretchen. Debbie
Small edits: they move around ta(l)king and laughing; perhaps not repeat sorority a second time so close together (sisterhood?); Bill lets a half smile come to his face (no apostrophe with 'lets').

Very nice and interesting chapter. And nicely written. Good work.
Miranda didn't learn much about the case, though.
Best wishes and good luck with the book.

It was the second part of the strip club chapter. It did help Rita though. LOL. Thanks for this. Gretchen

This was a great chapter and glad Miranda found Rita's hubby. Glad the cop had a good chat with the bouncer as well. I think you have another chapter up ahead?

The second posting should have been disabled. The title shows a different heading. Don't bother reviewing. Thanks so much for this nice review. Gretchen

Miranda can be persuasive and it sounds like she always gets her own way. I'm not sure Mitch is equipped to deal with her. Another fine chapter Gretchen, much enjoyed, love Dolly x x x

I believe that Mitch would agree with you most of the time. But he's in love. Thanks for this. Gretchen

This time of the week I don't have a single six left. But this was once again, a six deserving post. I really enjoyed reading this one. Both Miranda and Mitch had a surprise, Bill wasn't cheating, but just trying to earn a living to feed and cloth his family, and Mitch finds out the bouncer wants to be a cop. Excellent result for both of them. Loved it, my friend. Warmest hugs, Sandra xxx

Thank you so much. It was a boring chapter to be honest but it needed to be. Thanks again for the virtual six. Gretchen

This post was amusing. Mitch wanted to anywhere but there and hated her revealing he was a cop. The bouncer wants to be a cop. Bill is afraid to tell his wife. I've noticed over the years men hate to admit to losing a job. They take it as an indication they are no longer valuable.

A failure and invaluable. Being let go is a definite blow to the ego. Thanks for this. Gretchen

Miranda is such a good person, fancy finding where Bill works, discovering he works in a nightclub, which is a false world of makeup and adjusted boobs, I'm surprised anyone wants to work there, he's lost his job, and that's all he can do, Miranda tells him his wife thinks he doesn't love her anymore, just tell her he loves her. Beautifully written Gretchen blessings Roy
Typo: Wa(l)king and talking.

I'm not sure what's going on, but I just reviewed this post while you're posting this one. HMMM, it's still one of the best posts you've posted. I really like this story a lot.

My internet was acting up and I wasn't sure if it saved. Then said I had already posted a chapter by that name. I went in and changed the title. I'm not good with technology. Lol. Thanks for reviewing twice. Gretchen
