This is a very interesting poem as it is rather loud. I enjoyed it very much. Your presentation is beautiful. I do wish you the very best with all of your writing and I wish you the best day. Patricia.

A pleasure
Comment from Karen Cherry Threadgill
The pictures are outstanding and certainly advance the poem. The poetry is very well done. I can feel the need and the urgency. But, I have to ask, why the colored ink? It did not add to the poetry, it deducted from the serious feelings in your poetry. My own small opinion. Karen

I really enjoyed your vocabulary choices here, including "precipice", "awe" and "reverie". Such lovely language lends elegance and sophistication to this love story. I do like the variation of font colours and how this adds interest and aesthetic pleasure alongside your chosen words. Thank you for sharing this.

Another poem of passionate love and dedication. I really liked:
"as the sun rises and sets in your eyes
where my happiness starts and ends
at the open windows of your soul"
But such a love worries me because if that happiness is contingent on that one human being, and that person leaves, dies, or falls out of love with the narrator, that would be so utterly devastating!

Yes, it's a love poem, in real life there are no guarantees.
Thank you very much, big sister.
Today was my oldest granddaughter, Bella, birthday 🎂 🥳 23 I can't believe it. I was in the room when she was born. ((((Sigh))))
Love

Wow! 23! Your oldest granddaughter is ten years older than mine. And you're younger than me!
Happy Birthday to her! 23 is a fun age!
-
Thank you, you would love her. I'm lucky all my kids and grandkids are kind, beautiful, talented artists, and very respectful. I love them so much.
I was 40 years old when Bella was born. My son was 20 when she was born. I was not ready to be a grandma at 40 so I asked to be called, Nina, it doesn?t sound as old. LoL
She lives and goes to school in Florida. She works for Disney World.
I see her once or twice a year. I wish she would move back to California. ((((Sigh))))
-
Oh, it's so hard when they are far away! Nina sounds like a girl's name.
My father-in-law was plenty old when we had our first and he wanted to be called "Uncle"!! 😂
-
Uncle? LoL. That's worse than Nina.
-
Lol. His mom (hubby's grandma) heard that and said it just about "made my socks rot." She always used the funniest idioms!

Comment from Gloria ....
Your poem uses clear language and warm imagery to convey admiration for a lover. Each word deftly emphasizes mounting intensity and emotional depth starting with the precipice of your lips.
Superb presentation and overall terrific free verse poem.
Many thanks for sharing, Gypsy. :)

A very nice free verse. Yes, one can get lost in those precious moments, especially when love and passion roar with new flame. Ah, if only those flames lasted. I think you painted a great scene and did well with the matching presentation.

Gypsy, this was just beautiful. I think it was such a pure poem that shows how deep love can be. The desire, admiration, love and jealousy all rolled into one intoxicating piece. Great poem. Gretchen
