I really felt a connection to this piece. I've recently lost my own much beloved fur baby of thirteen years (Sally) and it has certainly been a difficult time. The image of crying children left with an empty doll's pram also really resonated with me because this was one of my favourite pastimes with my very patient cat Snowy when I was very little. One suggestion - re-read carefully for a few little typos in the second and third stanzas. This is a poignant story and I'm sure many readers will connect with it as I have. Vale Tiddles, and my sincere condolences.

Oh what a sad but lovely piece of rhyming poetry about the loss of a cat. There are a couple of typos but otherwise it's well written. If it's a true story I am sorry for your loss. Tiddles sounds like quite a character.

A nice tribute to your beloved pet. It's really tough when a pet dies, especially when they have been around for a long time. The Pussy Willow was a nice touch.

Thanks Paul for your review. Yes, the longer they live the more they get into your life. Hard when they go. Take care and have a great day.

I'm sorry you lost your beloved Tiddles. May his spirit love eternally in the greenest fields, full of any good thing his beautiful cat spirit desires. This is very well written and with genuine emotion. We've had three cats and two lived to be 16. Brady is 10 and he is another live. They were all indoor cats but cats are cats and they truly love us, too.

Best wishes and comfort,

Alexandra
