I will read your story when time permits. Things get busy this time of year, which doesn't allow me too much extra time in my days. Your pre-story introduction is humous and nicely done. I will make it a point to read your Santa story.

Thank you for reading and your interest. Terry.

So smooth and warm, Terry. You deserve the excellent publicity written by those literary organizations. I like the way you spoke with Diane. It is good to be able to think on your feet, or in a plush red chair. Kudos!

LOL, I think it was the chair. Thank you for the wonderful six-star review! Terry.

You know what I think of this story since I got a preview -- It is exceptional from all angles -- advertisement, warmhearted, fun, scene setting, character development, etc. I think is right on and, having had significant experience, when I was involved in storytelling, with kids, I know the feeling of standing in front of them to tell a story. There are always one or two with no filter whatsoever who can ask the hard questions. They are my favorite. Good work. ann

Ann, thank you for your six-star review! I remember the old House Party show with Art Linkletter and his segment, Kids Say the Darnest Things. Terry.

That's what I call a solid hook for your book! To me, Santa is a spirit that lives inside all of us, and when we give, he's there. What a wonderfully written story. Best of luck with your book!
Have a great day, and God bless.

Mike, thank you very much. I think you are 'right on' about Santa. Terry.

Whoa! You did great wowing that kid and probably all the others. You also relieved a lot of parents and grandparents minds. Now they know how to explain why they took the kids to hear about Santa. Did you ever preview any of your book on Fanstory?

Carol, thank you for reading. The original idea for the story was posted on FS in March. It was titled "Santa's Christmas Carol." I have posted other stories about the publishing process as things developed. Terry.

Oh this is just great, Terry. I so enjoyed it. I loved it when this little 6 year old stood up to you, and questioned you about the Santa. Surely, if you could tell how he came to be you must know him! Most enjoyable. Ulla:)))

I have to give you a six for this, not only for the story but also for how you handled the skeptical Diane. It was brilliant.
I sat by an open window. I was wrapped in a blanket when I was six, waiting to glimpse Santa. The only thing I caught was a cold, but I still believed. As you get older, you believe in Santa as he becomes part of those Christmas memories.
Best regards,
Mary

This post is hilarious. I taught preschool, ages two to five. The children kept me on my toes with all their questions and follow-up questions. You are a brave man to take on young children, but you handled it remarkably well. I'm sure they enjoyed the story.
Congratulations on all of the positive reviews of your book. Who cares about the questionable reviews? Thank you for sharing this update.

Hello Terry,
I'm blown away by the concept of writing a book about Santa's origins. What an original thought. I sell books through Amazon and I know that they take a chunk of the profits, as they should. However, do you sell them individually from your home or do I need to go through Amazon to buy one? One way or another, I see I need to get one. Well done! One other thing, you're much braver than me, reading to a bunch of kids. I fear I couldn't do it.
Have a blessed day.

Tom, thank you for the bright six stars. I don't sell the books personally. You can go through Amazon or another online seller. Thank you for your interest and comments.
I did have someone, I don't know, watch the video and he commented that he wished he had thought of those questions. LOL.
