Thanks again, Brett - but as a non-American I am struggling to work out who is who. I know both the strips, Dilbert and Doonesbury (but in the UK the more anodyne 'Bristow' is their parallel). Now, I can tell why Dilbert was pulled after totally unacceptable racist remarks by its author - but are we still in right wing territory with Doonesbury?

Garry Trudeau condemns the conspirators? Meaning he's on the side of Nixon? Well, not too difficult to understand why any decent crusading newspaper would see red there! And, looks like the implication is that this is far from the first time. There must be a channel owned by Trump who would welcome him with open arms! Over here, Richard Murdoch would have been a likely safe haven - except he just retired. Thank you, God!

Look forward to the next one.

I take it these comic strips are highlighting black folk, I find American attitudes to race decidedly different, or rather, more extreme than most western countries, it's hard to fathom the fuss, beautifully written Brett, blessings Roy
