Hello Gypsy :)
I really enjoyed reading your haibun about your daughter.
Young children are like sponges... it is their nature to absorb :)
Whilst succinct, your prose is informative and descriptive, enabling the reader to get a clear picture of Angelica.
The haiku is great - I love the reference to the bud and cuddling and spring - all symbolic to the small child :)
Best wishes, Debra

This is a beautifully written, pros and Japanese poetry that you've written about your daughter. It is amazing how Suella's moms even though we struggle when the babies were little we come to the point where we just really love them more than anything in this world, I appreciate so much what you told us in the story. Patricia.

Thank you for sharing about your beautiful spring blossom, your lovely Angelica! And you were in the spring of your years when you had her. Great use of assonance and consonance your poem.

What an adorable little baby. How old is she now? The haiku was warm and perfect for the subject matter in the story. Very well written. I am enjoying learning about you. Keep it coming. Gretchen

I am going to age myself. I had her when I was 17 years old and she is 48 now. I can't believe it. I still think of her as my baby. :)
Thank you very much, Gretchen. Tomorrow I will post chapter 3 and I will add this haibun to it.
