As much as I am not nervous about the morning or the surgery, I am a little apprehensive about the retina surgery since it's kinda experimental. I'm not worried about the cataracts tho. And good luck on yours too! Thank you again my dear friend!

This is so weird. I have the same as you. I have said no to the retina repair because I would have to travel to our big hospital in the city (three hours away) and have no one to handle me and the wheelchair. Both eyes need fixing. No, not worried about the cataract surgery this Friday. Been there done that. I am thinking of you sweetie pie. Love, Kay.

Oh good. I am so glad you are doing ok. I have another appointment this Wednesday and then surgery again on the 28th. I am so happy to hear from you. Lol, is a wombat a good thing?? Haha!

In the 9th stanza, you forgot a parentheses on Myself. Other than that, this was am absolutely adorable piece of poetry. I loved the picture. The rhyming pattern was consistent throughout, and the lines flowed perfectly. A superb job!
