How can one not be dragged into the fro of it?
There is much to adore about your chosen words, coupled with the magic of possibility that exists within each verse.
Love the sea metaphor, and a beautiful way to allow the segway into this beautifully composed and constructed free verse and to end it with the same strength of a storm...
and although there's no thunder,
our heartbeats boom and bang.
You nailed this free verse for this contest... all the very best wishes my friend!

I use color shades from dark grey to light grey... like a wave, it's just for presentation's sake.
