The picture is evocative and complements the poem. The last two lines are effective in summing up the overall mood and tone. There is something magical about dawn!

A good septolet poem but you need seven lines. I also didn't read the rules and a reviewer pointed it out so I've changed it. Good luck in the contest. Jen.
