I like that the narrator saved a memento of a sweater that still smells of the loved one even though everything else is donated to Goodwill. There's still a souvenir of love to keep her warm in the winter.

Poem is telling the story that a woman saved one piece of clothing, a sweater, and gave the rest to Good Will. We also have Good Will here and I love to go shopping there. Like your poem.

I worked for them for a couple of years. I taught office skills to destitute people. They are more than a thrift store. It's an amazing nonprofit organization.

You pack a lot of narrative into five short lines. We learn the Speaker still has strong feelings for her ex-lover, but she has not hesitated to dispose of MOST of his clothes. You do make us wonder why this relationship did not work out. Rod
