This is a good entry into the cinquain poetry contest. The text is a great size. The message is presented with clarity and is easy to understand. The poem depicts determined and uplifting perspective about life. It's a good one to have because life will beat you up. The visual fits well enough. Good luck in the contest.

I like your Cinquain poem- interesting presentation- good word count and flow- a humorous statement- standing up in defiance of life's tendency to destroy itself in the process of living - kind of like using Amazon every day? Committing suicide to break the addiction - very clever! Lol Good Job DD

Thank you AP for taking the time to review my cinquain poem. Always appreciated. I thought this poem a simple little statement about life but it seems to take on a different meaning to others who hail from a different part of the world from where I sit. Such is life :-) ~DD

Your poem shows the right attitude for life. Put everything into it so you can get all the benefits of your labors. It's an inspiring piece for many, and so relevant, especially for seniors.

Thank you, Thesis. I appreciate your comments on my cinquain. You seem to be one of the few that gets this simple piece fully for what it is meant to say. A couple of reviewers didn't quite get it all, strangely. But I put it down to where they are from. Different strokes for different folks :-) ~DD

That's the girl, and really probably the best thing to do in life, is enjoy wgphat life has to offer, without letting it get to you, it's the only way to go. Beautifully written my friend, good cinquain, good luck, blessings Roy

This is a powerful statement and it rearranges a feeling of defeat to a feeling of empowerment. We can easily be overwhelmed by the difficult seasons of life but we can absorb, glean, and treasure the best parts of living to celebrate each day. Best wishes in the contest!
