Great connection between the making of the fire and the "warm memories." It's those experiences of doing things with our loved ones which remain as precious memories.

This poem's imagery was strong. It brought back memories of church bonfires we had when I was young. I enjoyed the poem and the pictures selected to accompany it. Thanks for sharing, and best wishes to you.

This is another expertly written 4/8/4 Senryu. Are there magazine contest available to enter that award prizes for short form Japanese poetry? I would like to enter a few of my short form Japanese poems.
