Maybe you shouldn't have run away??? I wonder if maybe you shouldn't have waited so long to take off! Not having read previous chapters, I do hope you left something behind to remind them of you. ;) (just one of those things that I'm sure you thought tons about, but more than likely never got to do!)
Just curious... where is this? I expect your regular readers know the location of said McD's, but as I'm new, I'm going to have to ask.

Well done. Another good read. I can't wait for the next chapter. Dusty seems a nice fella once you got to know him. Seems he is a good mind reader as well. I love the pictures as well. No spags.

This is in interesting moment for the narrator. He is talking very openly to a stranger! This may not have been wise. The speaker has had such a hard life, it is difficult to imagine things going smoothly! A good insight into character here.

Isn't it funny? These days the same thing exists I'm sure, but a lot of the inadequacies of institutions and those barbarians that would otherwise be criminals keep getting uncovered, something Covid outbreaks makes the powers that be, sitting in their elected offices are alerted, beautifully written Brett, blessings Roy
