Christmas is coming. We need Rudolph the red nose to be well. Our children welcome Santa's. They ate waiting for their Christmas gifts.

Almighty God, help us beat Covid, flu etc.

Thanks for sharing

Thanks, Chan. I just talked with Santa, and It looks like Rudolph will be able to make the trip.

This is a great Christmas limerick and I wish I had wrote it. You are right of course, without Rudolph Christmas might be canceled! That just can't happen. Best of luck in the contest. :)

Congrats on All time Best. A good limerick for the contest; wishing you well. "Six white boomers (kangaroo) chewing bubblegum in their bloomers. Pulling Santa across the Australian sky! Happy Christmas Paul. K xx

Poor Santa can't bring gifts to children because his rain deer doesn't feel well. I have enjoyed reading your poem. Excellent work! No mistakes found in your poetry. Thank you for sharing!

Thanks, Raul. He doesn't use "rain" deer anymore. He use snow deer.

Paul

Cute poem. I like them short and sweet. I'm not so sure a frantic Santa would be chilling in a hammock. Nice rhymes. I don't think you need the words "And" & "But". But's that me. :-)

HO HO HO Merry Merry

Thanks, Rickie. You are right about "and" and "but". Those are a couple of words that get overused in poetry.

This is a very well written Christmas limerick. Very nicely done. Great photo to compliment your words as well. Nice rhymes. Good luck in the contest.

Well, I certainly hope that it's not put on hold! What a fun - and seasonal! - limerick for this contest entry. Maybe Santa needs to finally get headlights for that sleigh of his!

Good luck and Merry Christmas:-)

Hi Paul,
This is a cute Christmas limerick. Won't the cold just make Rudolph's nose more red? It may make breathing at heights hard though. I think Santa only needed Rudolph if it is foggy. If it is clear, Rudolph could stay home and recover with the trip going on as scheduled.
Good luck in the contest.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Merry Christmas
Joan

Thanks, Joan. You are right. He might have a little problem in foggy England though. Christine might not get her presents.

This is a cute one. Before I retired, I tried to teach the students limericks. It was not an easy task and only a few of them were successful. From the various posts I've read, it sounds like Santa is having all sorts of problems this year. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Thanks, Mary. Before I retired, I tried to teach my students the Pythagorean theorem. That was also a challenge.
