Fantastic start! I do not know how you manage to write so fast yet cleanly, and with a gripping story too. And I love your little notes of humour in the horror (naming the coffee, haha). I have 1576 words but still some bits are a bit zig zagging, so no problem for the days aim, but too much of a draft to show here 'till tomorrow or Thursday, depending on external factors. Kate xx

Thanks so much, Kate :-). I did fix quite a few little nits with a proof read before posting - I see I missed one though (many thanks for that!). I'm not great at editing a full book after I've finished, so I try to do proof-reading edits as I go. Obviously, I still need to go back and make amendments when the characters change the direction of the story or I finally realise what my ending is and need to add some set-up. I have no doubt that will happen soon enough!

I think you tend to specialise in stories written in the first person, poetic imagery in similes leading to metaphor, like an artist painting an abstract, with the undeniable perception of the fellow writer, working his own poetic device, the seasoned familiar. Thank you, Roy :-). This one will be mixed - some chapters from Terry's dual PoV, and others from another set of characters. I'm really glad you liked it!
