That is such a beautiful well written tribute to your granddaughter. Time does certainly fly and the children in our lives mature before we know it. Evi
Hope your recovery is speedy!

Thank you so much Evi, for your very kind words for my poem for my granddaughter. I didn't want to stop posting while I'm receiving care for Covid, so thought it would be nice to use ones I had already written a little while ago, and share my family w my other family. : )
I truly appreciate your well wishes and prayers too, my dear friend!

Oh NO! That darn Covid. Many have been struck with that dastardly thing. I am so glad to hear that you that you are at least 'healing.' Take care of yourself. Too many times we have just enough time to grab it's ugly head; I am so glad that you took the time to wish Kenzie Jo Happy Birthday and many more. ð???ð???ð???ð???ð???ð???ð?§¸

Grandchildren are great, and you have a great one in Kenzie Jo. One of my grandsons was just over today for a visit and to pick up a load of firewood.

Thank you so much Paul, for your very kind words for my poem for my granddaughter. Even if it's to get firewood or borrow a few groceries, it's always so special to see them.

I think having a talented poet for a grandma can be a blessing and a curse, LOL. In this case, you have written a lovely poem for a lovely young lady. I am pretty sure she is liking this one, along with your many fans. Get Well. Terry.

Thanks so much Terry! Yes, especially when they know grandma loves to talk. Lucky for her, I'm not up to it right now. Lol She did love her poem very much! She is the one who does much of my artwork for me......
Thanks for your kind words my friend!

Without memories being made are memories never to be treasured.
Covid. You just don't missed the plague of the day, week, month, etc.
Challenges are made by God, and it seems you are his primary tester.
Be well. I had wondered where you have been.

Debi, I am so sorry you are dealing with the virus of covid. You are in my thoughts and I know you know that I will always be your friend. You wrote so sweetly about your grandchild and you are a trooper for posting even though you are healing. Thanks for sharing this lovely rhyming poem. I am hoping against hope that you recover soon.

Very beautiful dedication to your beautiful granddaughter. I became an uncle at the age of 11 and I actually babysat my nephew over the summers as my brother was a single father and couldn't afford day care. I'd pick him up from daycare when I got out of school when I was a freshman in high school, and he'd hop in my Camaro and brighten my day each time. Now he's in his early twenties, far taller than me and works as a correctional officer at a prison in Arizona. Where the heck did the time go, is exactly what I think all the time. Seems like I was just at his high school graduation a year or two ago, but its already beef four years. Thanks for posting this, it brought back some of my happiest moments with my nephew!!

very powerful and moving poem about the love you have for your grand daughter. It comes out clear and paints a picture of a special child in your heart. Hope you have a speedy recovery from COVID. So far, I have avoided it but thought I had it last week turned out to be a bad cold. People still get colds these days.
