Terrific verse!!
You have done a great job with the prompt, as this is a strong contest entry that I hope will do well.
The presentation is excellent! Choosing the black background makes the embers prominent. The reader can actually feel the heat.
Your carefully selected 20 words are effective at conveying a message of personal renewal.

I love a good campfire. So many memories in your 20 syllable poem as shadows of memories dance in the smoldering embers.
Excellent artwork and presentation as well.
Blessings

"Shadows of memories dance" is a vivid opening line that draws the reader into your poem. Your words create a picture of the fire that brings up feelings and thoughts of times gone by.

I like how the author presents memories in the smoldering fire! I thought about how shadows of memories, as the author states, swirling as the smoke curls, for me are a part of letting go! The poem flows and connects well. The artwork is awesome and compliments this poem well.

I love your poem because that is what fire does to me. I stare and stare, and memories begin to dance in the flames, mesmerizing me, not letting me go until my eyes begin to burn. Wonderful way to express this beautiful sentiment.

Shadows of memories- that is so true. When I stare into the glowing embers of a camp fire other glowing coals always swing back to mind. Loved your twenty syllable poem, Faith. Good luck in the contest, cheers.

This poem, and well chosen picture, is reflective of the dancing flames in a fire, which is a strong imagery to begin with.
It has the power to bring us to a place where it is possible to connect with our memories. And that's what makes your poem memorable.
Nice work.
