I'm enjoying the story and wondering if anyone is looking for you to bring you back. It sounds as if you ignoring the basal cell carcinomas like they are annoying flea bites. If you were born in 61 you are much too young to stop caring about something so easily and quickly treatable, unless you don't mind dying a slow and painful death. I've known people that happened to because ignoring them doesn't make them go away. They will eventually turn into something deadly. Someone with your talent has no cause to give up on life. It sounds like that 12-year-old was excited about life and looking forward to the adventure.

Not ignoring them.
Two surgeries on the right arm, three on the left, one behind the left ear.
Five others sprayed with liquid nitrogen including on chest and left ear.
Biopsied a pre-cancer on the right arm, and this past Tuesday biopsy on tumor on nose, awaiting that result.
Appreciate the kick in the pants because today has been a downer day.
Needed that.

I graduated high school in 1972. In 1973, I was a college student and still knew nothing about a stock market crashing. Thank you for sharing. This is very well written. I can't wait for the next post.

Brett, This is very well written chapter you have penned about what went on in your life at a certain time. You used very good descriptive words and very neat imagery with the picture of the dog, I will have to go back and read more of this! Blessings, Teri
