Thank you so much Helen! Great to have such a poem of encouragement, as well as a list of those in need of prayer. I am actually quite exhausted from helping at the Centre, and at night I don't sleep well because their stories are so troubling I keep having flashbacks. I've never been a good sleeper as my mind comes alert at night. The victims so much need our prayers, as shock and despair and exhaustion are setting in.

I know what you mean. Can you change those flashbacks into prayers and leave them with the Lord? I know as moms, we want to fix problems but only He can handle these troubles. Appreciate all you do, Wendy! Hugs and prayers for you to get restful sleep! Hugs!
-
Yes, I try to do that. But I become fully alert .... Thank you for praying, and for your care. Hugs to you too.

Awe, Helen, you are thinking of them all. How lovely is that. Yes we do indeed wish them all to heal and very soon as well. What a lovely post you've written. Ulla:)))

Thank you so much, Ulla! So much is going on in the world, and including your extended family in the US. It's good we can all support each other in prayer.
Hugs!

Our collective prayer list is long, but God is greater than these things. Thank you for the list, as I didn't know about Tony and his wife, and Teri and her husband. Sending you my best today, and my promise to keep everyone in my prayers.
God is good.
Love and blessings,

Teri has been on the mend but it shows how it's possible to get Covid a second time. It was probably caught at church. Thanks for praying, Sally! Hugs!
-
I've had Covid four times although vaccinated. I have a hyper sensitive immune system though. It's been a rough few years for many. Praying!! Sal xoxo's

Four times??? Hope and pray no more! 🙏🙏
I just got my second booster. We always wear our masks at church as several had it a couple of times there, too.

Thank you for reviewing and noting our friends' burdens here. They were vaccinated so I hope they get extra help from their doctor for any additional remedies like Paxlovid.
Hugs!

These great couplets contributed to making an excellent Poem. You have such a caring heart, it comes out in so many of your poems, and I love the way you carry burdens for your friends. I have that same kind of relationship with the writing group I've been part of for 26 years.

It's natural to pray with and for those we have shared our hearts with through our writings. Thanks so much, Verna! Hugs!

Helen,
Absolutely! Thank you for the updates. It's so good to have this caring, supportive community. Some people don't quite get it for all it truly is and that's a shame. It's so much more than just a writing site. *smile* SO much more. Thank you, sweet lady, for helping to keep that bond strong.
And I know you've faced your own tough stuff lately. You shouldn't leave yourself off that list. Hugs--

Aside from your poem, thanks for listing the names of those who need our prayers. The first stanza speaks of how FS members span the globe. The last two stanzas makes the reader realize how our fate is in God's hands.

Thank you for reading the notes, Shari. Not everyone does. But it was the content of the notes which drove me to post the poem. Appreciate you!!

Hello Helen. Thank you for being a conduit for prayer here on FS. I am praying and lifting each of these friends up to the Lord. I know he cares and will heal them. A lovely verse... minutes are my favorites.

Thank you, Carol! Hope all went well with the surgery today. So glad her sister-in-law will be there to help. It takes a lot of grace to receive help, too. Hugs and blessings and prayers!
