There is nothing quite like a moonlit night to bring an ambient and tranquil peace to our senses, this is what you did here, much enjoyed, love the matching artwork too, love Dolly x

This is a beautiful presentation Gypsy and a very descriptive Modern Haiku. Your words, and the chosen artwork, bring together a picture of serenity. Beautiful,
cheers,

This is a very nice poem with an equally lovely illustration. I thank you for listing all the intricacies of modern Haiku. However, most FanStory entrants are not members of The Haiku Foundation and it seems a little unfair that some reviewers hold writers to standards that are not listed in the rules set forth by the committee. When this happens it sort of squelches a desire to enter because most people don't appreciate being dressed down for following the printed rules on FanStory. I apologize for including my mini-rant here. I still liked your poem. Best wishes.

That's where I want to be. Moored to serenity and awash with lunar glow...
Eyes to the sky, searching for falling stars.
Finding my solace in silence!

Ah, what a beautiful scene! And yes, I can see the "flooding" with the bright moonlight and the waves reflected the moon's rays. Loved the reflection of water and sky!
