I am not familiar with this type of poetry. However, I would have to say your words can be interpreted in different ways, based on the individual reading it. There is a depth to your words. Thanks

This is such an exact format that I find it intimidating. But I also admire those who can execute it. The title let my mind meander a bit as I tried to figure out the cause of the "damp sheets". I was wrong in my assessment of the meaning, but so enjoyed your delivery.

Hi Gypsy,
a pleasure to revisit your stunning art form after a bit of a layoff from site.
This Tanka form is one of my favorites when it comes to the short style of communication... so much said within a limited avenue.
One has to be on their game to get across their intended meaning using this limited format.
I love the 'pull-in' and impact of the title... 'Lying on damp sheets'.
It does conjure up some thoughts indeed... but you clever minx, here you have changed the narrative of the original state of reasoning, and of course, what this format was intended to achieve... I loved it!
As per usual your presentation and delivery is impeccable... well done!
