writers never seem to be able to say enough...
filling there days with word after word...

there was a time I couldn't even stop writing...driving down the road...I would
think of something I wanted to put in a poem...and if I didn't write it down...I
would forget...so I would write on anything I could find...even a Kleenex box...LOL...bug hugs back at ya...love xxoo

Yes it's true - poetry and writing seem to draw us in to express more, to reflect more but most especially to write more -it's a way of escaping too just a little !

Some are old school, but new ideas pop into my mind because I've read them. Neruda is extremely good at inspiring me for content. Anyway, thanks for the lovely review.

I'm guessing you are reading Neruda in translation, right? I wonder if it feels different in Spanish. When I took a Spanish class, I remember really enjoying the works of Gabriela Mistral.
