Lol! Ah, poor snowman. But the crow got something to eat. At least, no one had to "eat crow" because of something said. The ending was unexpected but added humor as well as helped us to imagine the melted snowman! Great way to illustrate the power of a few words!

"Silent Snowman"
This is a 4/6/4 Modern Late Winter Haiku.
When I review this I think of a scarecrow.
But in its place is a snowman with the nose of a carrot.
And then I think of the ineffective use of the snowman as he's melting.
To protect the Winter Garden of invisible flowers.
