Hi Roy, what a beautiful gift your mother made for her eldest granddaughter. That is the sort of thing that will go down the generations. Your daughter takes it out every year at Christmas in memory of your mother. What a lovely tradition that has created. A beautifully written poem. Ulla:)))

What a beautiful thing Roy. I always like to see things from a personal aspect around this period, and this is treasured. A lovely thing to make, and I would think it is treasured indeed.

It is clear where you get so much artistic talent, Roy. Your mother must have been a most creative person, and patient as well, to make all those beautiful figures. I'm glad your daughter is able to have them and display them, and no doubt hand them down to one of her children too. Your poem is amazing as well, and deserves six stars, which I wish I had tonight. I found the author's words to be filled with meaning, giving honor to past memories, and creative. I found the poem to be motivating as it states the importance of preparing for the Christ Child. The artwork is lovely and compliments these words. Hope you n the family are doing well...Maria
