Very funny and embarrassing for Chuck. Back in the day, clerks handled such movies routinely so they would not think to maybe soften their voices a little. I do not think they even thought that a customer would want to be discrete.

Hello Liz.
Over 50 years ago in the army, one of my fellow soldiers brought a "dirty movie" into our area, claiming he got it in Amsterdam. In those days, a lot of the porn came from Europe. The US now produces most of the "dark room movies," so I've read.

This is funny. Sensitive people have to live with the fact that nothing seems to bother the clerks in these store. It is just something else they sell and they care who they embarrass. It way my husband wouldn't by condoms in a drugstore. I remember the funny scene on Golden Girls when Rose was trying to buy condoms.

LOL!! I know this one. My dear caregiver is loud!! Everyone on our floor knows about the niece's boyfriend who shot a woman in the back of the head and pistol-whipped her 10-year-old son - and she ain't given the niece no $2000.00 for his bail. A perfectly loving and good woman, but oh the mouth. This story brought me right back to it. Well-done humor here!!
