Excellent in concept, word, and flow. Your poem and story touched my heart. I think stories like this are one of the best ways to get ideas like this across. There's nothing pushy or preachy about it while the idea is still clear. Great job!

This is a really interesting take on the light from heaven. Sometimes as people fight over the stupidest things, I wonder if we don't need such a warning, but I have little faith we would listen.

I'm out of sixes for this impeccably written speculatively fictional poem. I had my first alien experience at the age of five, and numerous thereafter. I don't know why they visit or why they abduct people. Your answer is at least a benign one and offers good advice. Unfortunately, it is those who seek power and control that start wars for the "little people" to fight.
