I did not know Portia was going through all of this. Thank you once again for bringing forward yet another FS member that needs our prayers! I will certainly be praying for her surgery to be successful. You've such a great heart my friend! Love what your doing with these posts!

Being a caregiver is a stressful task. I think they should get some outside help, at least occasionally. Some Medicare and Insurance plans may even pay part of it. For someone who has a chronic illness herself, it would be quite a challenge. It's amazing that she can continue writing. I pray that she will recover speedily from her surgery. Lovely rhyme and flow in your poem. judi

Being a caregiver is a stressful task. I think they should get some outside help, at least occasionally. Some Medicare and Insurance plans may even pay part of it. For someone who has a chronic illness herself, it would be quite a challenge. It's amazing that she can continue writing. I pray that she will recover speedily from her surgery. Lovely rhyme and flow in your poem. judi

Portia's love of God shines through everything she writes and I had no idea of her illness or her husband's condition. I will pray for her ceaselessly. She deserves health and happiness... and thank you for this poem dear one!

The rhymes don't seem forced and the poem flows nicely. Well done! I know she will love it.

Thank you for praying, Gypsy! Portia was among my first friends on Fanstory and then she was gone for a while due to health issues. And she came back. It's so hard when she has to care for others while she's so sick. Hugs!

Being a care giver even for one you love is a wearing, debilitating business. To do so when not in the best of health oneself is really quite remarkable. Portia is a remarkable lady and I hope your prayers are answered and she makes a rapid and full recovery.
