Hi Roy, Well written and has a powerful message for those tempted. You are always so honest in your writing and notes, and the past is past. you cannot go back it's what were are and do in the present that counts.

So glad you were able to kick your habits it must have been a long row to hoe to get your life back on track, so many have been caught in that web of madness retrying to squelch that addiction. You have had your fair share of demons that's fir sure. Proud of you putting that devil and his cohorts to rest. Proud of you!

A very personal testament to what you have been through. There are many addictions. Step one to climbing out of that hole is to admit there is a problem and begin embrace that there is a way toward serenity. For many that is the Lord. For those who do not believe in Him, I think He believes in THEM. Bless you for your words here. If you move one soul this is a rousing success! (Happy Birthday by the way!)

I am happy that you found God who helped you overcome your addictions. I have been sober for many years but I still remember how it felt. I attended AA meetings, which is a very spiritual program. Well done. I love the presentation.

Addiction regardless of what it is to is a dark and evil place... it owns you and controls your life whether you want it to or not. My brother has succumbed again to alcohol and has hurt many people. I pray the light still burns somewhere for him before it becomes too late.

I agree Carol, alcohol is the catalyst to so many other vices that was the biggy really, that was 38 years, not a drop has passed my lips, I didn?t need AA, just God, thanks dear girl, blessings Roy
