You are actually an artist at heart - do you paint? These well chosen words paint such a soothing and tranquil scene - absolutely beautiful. A winner for sure.

Another really good effort on the short stuff. It goes very nicely with the picture. When atmospheric conditions are right, these are very special times.

Great cinquain Melissa. It is an admmitly difficult poetic form. Sometimes these short forms can be a pain in the arse.
I like how you handled the form and how you broke up the lines. I've seen other make each line a somewhat different thought ir sentance in their poem. I'm starting mine soon but not looking forward to it! Lol

This cinquin give a strong image of a sunset and the darkening skies afterwords. You have a good mix of words and artwork.

There is an almost spiritual feeling in your words. The reader can feel and see dusk with the lilac hues. Your vivid use of words created dusk like the painting you chose for your poem. Excellent little poem.
