This is cute but baby I am horrified over spiders. Are they going to be in Heaven? I always wondered about that. If they are God will help me look at then differently I'm sure. You did a good job on this story. Thanks for sharing.

Jewish spiders in the ark! Reading a travel brochure! ha! haa! Masters stroke of genius. The dialogue made me chuckle as I slowly read and enjoyed the tongue in cheek humour. You are very creative and has a way with words. Brilliant! Thoroughly enjoyed.

Your dialog, is as always, second to none. And who says spiders can't be the main characters, even on Noah's ark. You make it all believable to me. LOL. Thanks for sharing another fine story. Sorry, I don't have a six.

Haha! I liked the cheesy humor of the two spiders in this story. It's definitely a good mixture of the modern things we know with the ancient story in the Bible.
I found only one thing that caught my eye in the writing when I read the story, and it was that there seemed to be an 'a' missing in this sentence after beneath: "And I have no desire to perish beneath steaming pile of pachyderm plotz!"

Outstanding! Jewish spiders waiting to board The Ark? And a travel brochure to lure some species aboard? Just megillah!
Always wondered why Noah just didn't swat those two mosquitos, I mean, saving skeeters? Come on! Your imagination knows no boundaries, even if sometimes...but hey, I have this 800 number and no, it's not a shrink!

Hahaha! I was just saying to LisaMay about her post that Noah's ark was the first cruise ship. And now you wrote one with exactly that idea but with Yiddish-speaking spiders. I hope Fred behaves himself as Gert might "bite his head off." Enjoyed the fun!

I didn't pick up on it being dialog only until the end. Shows how well you handled it. Having the spiders Yiddish definitely makes this funnier. Even learned a couple of new words! I noticed that Captain Jack posted recently. Is it the same one?
Always warm regards,
Bill

Ha ha. Great story, very original. Aren't all spiders yiddish?
I didn't need the translation but I'm sure it was very helpful to others. Hilarious. Take care. Jen.

Thanks for opening this up to standards!
It's fun to read your entertaining work again, my friend.
As usual, you enhance characterization with dialog and diction, deftly done. Great pacing and flash style.
LOL:
Free Falling Feces Zone? And I have no desire to perish beneath steaming pile of pachyderm plotz!"
They sound like two New York Jewish spiders! I enjoyed all the Yiddish, especially:
Where'd you get all that meshugas
extravagant megillah
"Oy, a frimmer, talks to God, huh?
that farshunken boat, and it doesn't rain?"
LOL-
"What's a Noah? Is that some crazy acronym, you know, like the Neurotic Order of Arachnid Haters?"
LOL-
"Air-A-Rat? Sounds lovely. What, Smell-A-Pig is all booked up? Look, Gert, what do you say we hang back a while, see what happens?"
LOL
"Mini-bar, schmini-bar.
Pitch perfect closing.
Chuckling,

I love that you made the spiders Yiddish; Leo Rosten would be proud! LOL
I enjoyed this tremendously; the humor was sit-com at its best.
