Yes Mum is doing well still in hospital but recovering Cheers Chrisx

Like the external-internal contrast that leaves a sense of emptiness combined with a clinging hope for truly better days. Nicely done. I agree with you, work on the structure and decide on which structure is the best fit for the poem.
