I didn't notice any errors, Sandra. This continuation chapter was amazing. Poor Monica is stressed about the hurricane that have trapped Tania and Grant ( I am not sure if they know about the staff). Meanwhile they have minimal stress over the Rapier. However, the situation in the Bahamas got worse, Latifah may have gone into labor which is definitely a worry for Peter, Tania and Grant. Great job. It keeps one on their toes. Well done, hugs, smiles and blessings.

Aww, thank you so much, Alie. I love your reviews you always put such a smile on my face. I need that at the moment, this moving lark is not for the elderly! Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

You are so welcome Sandra. This was great. Oh, I am more than well aware that moving is definitely not for the elderly. Even with our constant moving, I dread packing everything up and traveling. My hat is off to you both. Hugs.

I have experienced an earthquake, tornado, severe thunder storms, high wind dust storms, but never a hurricane. I don't plan to either. LOL Good job, Sandra. I didn't see anything to help with your editing. Not seeing very good now that my right eye has failed me. This is exciting. Nancy:)

I've been on the outskirts of an earthquake when we lived in Spain and saw the damage to the town near us. Not nice! Apart from that, we don't have anything in the UK, just a lot of rain!
I'm so sorry to read your right eye has failed you now, Nancy, that must be so frustrating. How is your left eye?
Thanks so much for reading this part, my friend, even though it must have been really hard. Just take it easy. I'm so pleased you found it exciting. Thanks, my friend. Warm hugs. Sandra xx

In Dec 2019 I noticed a dark spot in my eye and it grew. It is a detached Retina. I have been unable to go to the eye Dr. because of the virus.

I ache for a six to give you, dear Sandra. I wasn't expecting this mid week. Anyway, this was so well written and a real nail biter. I enjoyed this so much. I've lived through many hurricanes and had many children, but never together. Waiting with great anticipation for the next chapter. Sending along my very best, Sally :)) XOs...

That ache is worth more than a six to me, Sal, thank you so very much. I have been so rushed with this move, I don't remember being this tired before when we've moved. I do not like getting old! :(
I'm so pleased you enjoyed this part, I was worried because I felt it was a bit rushed. A bit like the hurricane!! Lol.
How do you cope with the hurricanes and having children to look out for? It must worry the socks off you. I'm glad we don't have them in the UK. Thanks again, my dear friend. Warm hugs. Sandra xxx

I been hurricane and know they can be frightening. :You've done a great job this chapter and I didn't see any nits. I wondering not if the little group will be called on to deliver a baby. I liked you explanation for stock-still. I used it without knowing its origin. Moving can be really exhausting at any age.

Aw, Beth, thank you so much for the lovely sixth star, I was worried about posting it because I haven't been able to spend the time on it that I usually do. I'm so pleased you enjoyed it. I'm also glad you liked the info that I found out about 'stock still'. I found it fascinating.
We hope to finish this move tomorrow, and then we start unpacking it all! lol. I'll be so glad when it's all finally done. Sending you a warm hug, dear friend. :)) Sandra xxx

Dearest Sandra,
I liked this chapter though I have to catch up on the previous ones. The storm approaches, the tummy contractions begin, what next? I sooo wanna know. The suspense heightens...
The prose bears a rhythm that is just right-The up and down, the serious and the playful, the danger and the love, the details and the essential.
Your good taste in names is well appreciated- Latifah and oh my Peanut! (Heart melts here).
Well done.
Cheers,
DJ

I'm trying to guess where you live, being up at this time. I'm UK so it's morning here, are you? Or are you Australian? I'm probably wrong on both places! Lol.
Thank you so much for reading this part, I'm delighted you enjoyed it. I'm also pleased you like the names I've given them. I called mine, Peanut, Lol. Back then we couldn't be told what the baby's sex was. Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra

Hahahaha Sandra, I believe we have got a fresh new mystery on our hands, dont you think? Aww Peanut is real cute. Am seriously considering this name. Smiles :)

Mmm, you added some physical "visuals"for the crew so now we know they are young and gorgeous. Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings.

I didn't find any nits and I liked your etymological research. I have no idea how long the eye of a hurricane takes to pass, either! But I hope it's only a false labor for Latifah. I don't think the hospitals are in any condition to welcome newborns. Otherwise, I wonder who'll deliver the baby!

Thank you, dear Helen. I loved that word of yours, etymological, I guessed what it meant but checked it out to hear the pronounciation. I got it right!! Lol.
I had a false labour with my second child, but he didn't come for another four weeks, still six weeks prem. He's been whizzing through life ever since!
I checked out how long a took an eye takes to pass over, and it varies from minutes to 2 hours + depending on the size and ferocity. Writing can be so educational!
Thanks, Helen for this lovely review, I'm glad you are still enjoying it. We move in our new home tomorrow, so I might be missing for a few more days waiting for the internet to be connected. But I'll catch up with you as soon as I can. Warm hugs, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

I was so impressed you got this chapter done with all you're doing. Hope that everything goes smoothly! 🙏💖

Hello Sandra.
They get the experience of a hurricane. I have experienced multiple ones.
Usually the eye will last about 30-45 minutes and it seems like the storm is over. It's not. The trailing wall hits then. It's interesting Tania wasn't as afraid of Colin when she saw what was coming in the storm. I'm sure Grant is prepared. Funny how priorities change when threats and circumstances change.

Good morning, Robert. Thank you so much for this lovely review, I'm so glad you remembered the story after my two and a half week absense. Moving house is not to be recommended at my age!
I thought hard about Tania's feelings facing a totally unknown situation that no human can control. Would that be scarier than something you can strike back at? I decided to go with it this way. I wanted to see what reaction I received because that would be the deciding factor when I do my final edit, but so far, you are the only one that has mentioned it. I'm so pleased you did. Thank you, my friend, I really have appreciated your review. Warmest hugs. Sandra xxx

You're very welcome Sandra. When I read the story it seemed to me the stresses on Tania changed. Maybe it's because in real life we experience a lot of change and we can be distracted and even persuaded during times of stress.
She left what she knew to avoid a particular crisis and went to a place she thought would be peaceful and now faces a different crisis.
Robert.

I've been watching out for this chapter, which is of the usual high standard.
Just a couple of thoughts:
He quickly moved through the rooms checking that all the extra safety measures he'd put in place when he had the villa built, including heavy metal shutters, had held up against the force of this violent, unprecedented hurricane. - this seems quite long and I lost the thread on the first read but it's okay really. I'd put a comma after 'rooms'
The shutter had buckled under the immense strain, there was nothing he could do but hope it held against the next onslaught. - replace comma with a period
Closing the bathroom door, he carried on inspecting the rooms until he'd checked them all. - maybe 'he carried on inspecting the rest of the house'
He glanced at his watch, it was time to get back with the others. - replace comma with a period
Good luck with the rest of the move. In two weeks' time, we'll be shifting too. It's pretty stressful at times. We're down-sizing considerably so a lot of stuff has had to be donated/tossed/sold/etc.
Best wishes
Judy

Good luck with your move, Judy, I'm just so glad ours is happening tomorrow. Then we have to unpack it all, but that's the fun side, finding new homes for things. Down sizing is harder, and I don't envy you that. What to keep and what to discard isn't easy.
Thank you so much for this lovely review, and your first words put a huge smile on my face. I've gone through the edits, thank you! I can't see me posting the next part until later next week, I'll be so busy over this weekend. Good luck with your move! Warm hugs, Sandra xxx
