I agree, Debra. We all have so much to be thankful for, yet many dwell on the negative. Your poem is well-written. I like the use of rhyme and the great and true message.

Good for you! Most of us encounter troubles enough in our own lives that we don't want a steady diet of trauma, angst and sadness. I love your rebelliously happy little poem. I, too, am grateful for the good things in my life and glad that our Creator has blessed us with so much.
