Oh I do pray she will have a quick recovery. The hip replacement is one of the easiest to recover from I was told. My knee operation didn't help much. Thank you for the information Helen. Nancy:)

Thank you, Teri! I saw your comment on Facebook. I remembered she just disappeared from here one day and Robyn told me how to connect with her on Facebook.
Hugs!

I parked Facebook indefinitely. I can't see it. Thank you though. Sal XOs...

Oh, gosh, she had to wait a year. I assume Covid caused the waiting problem. This is thoughtful and well written. I sent up a little prayer immediately as waiting when you don't know the person can be forgetting.

Actually, she was diagnosed three years ago. Canadian medicine is reasonable but getting surgeries is not easy. Thank you so much for praying, Judy! Hugs!!

Hi Dolly! I don't think she will be returning to FS. I don't know why she suddenly disappeared but Robyn told me to find her on Facebook, that's the only reason I know.
Hugs!

Let us hope she will be like new when she recovers. The waiting times for elective surgery wherever you are in the world are horrendous these days, apparently Covid-19 is to blamne.

Yes, Covid is partly to blame but she waited a full year before Covid so it's been a long time in pain for her. Thanks, Jim!

Oh, Roy! Everyone would do fine. God will nudge the right person to share about different souls here. Thank you for praying! If you want to send her an email let let know and I can give you her email address! Hugs and blessings!

You are queen of the prayer posts--I don't know Joy--regardless, this is a touching poem--I take it that your mention of her having had to wait is an allusion to Corona cancellations of "elective" surgery.

Lol. Thank you for this odd title! It's just that we get to be this age when everyone needs prayers. I think I end up praying a lot as I read here. Hugs!

I don't know her but will most definitely keep her in my prayers. That is a very painful surgery and the rehab for getting back to walking is the painful part. I hope she gets a good rehab facility to work with her.

This is a very beautiful prayer for Joy. I don't know her, or I don't remember her, but still she is a fellow writer and member of our community. You are an angel, Helen,

Thank you, Amada. She used to write poems about her grandchildren almost daily here.
