This is a beautiful tribute that is filled with sincere and profound wisdom about the pause between here and the everlasting afterlife. This part is so difficult and tragic. Prayers are all we are able to give. Bless you, Yvette.

Yvette, this was a great tribute to JoanE and to her family. My prayers are sent out to her family. She is on a peaceful journey now and she passed with as much dignity and grace as she could muster. She will sadly be missed.

-Lovely image, presentation,
and poem, Yvette.
-You have created a peaceful
mood and transition from
what used to be when so
many things are distant memories.
-She was a poet "with a lovely voice,"
and she does deserve the
"hugs in everlasting arms!"
-I appreciate your tribute to Joan.

You are very welcome, Yvette, and I am glad you wrote the poem even though you were newer on the site. It was very meaningful. She will be missed. I am putting mine in Sun.

A very well-written poem and tribute to Joan E who was a great poet and excellent friend to depend on. May her soul be at peace and safely in the arms of God.

You make death sound like a peaceful and worthwhile journey and when the inevitable happens, it is better to embrace it and die in peace, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

Another brilliant piece completes the trio--Helen, Roy, and you. I didn't know Joan at all--this is a magnificent celebration her life and eloquent wishes for her peaceful death.

I love the first stanza is so vibrant and full of colors and flowerily joy, that the hand embroidery in the canvas of time. "When sleep is all that there is left -
When no longer eyes behold
the richness of creation's hand
on fields of green and marigold..." Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings.
