Sandra,
Interesting continuation -- stringing us along.... not nice, you know. Actually pretty stinking rude. But I'd never actually tell you that. I'm far too nice. hehehe
A note:
'How long have you lived here?'
'Three years. After my parents decided to retire, I moved out.
--> you make it sound like she DOES NOT live there - like she has moved OUT OF THAT PLACE. Can you see that?
--> 'Three years. After my parents retired, I decided it was finally time to get out on my own. That's when I found this place.' something like that
Thanks!

LOL Robyn, I'm so pleased you are too nice to tell me that!! Lol. You are so funny.
I hadn't seen that until you pointed it out, and I don't think anyone else did. I've changed it to this:
?Three years. After my parents retired I decided it was time for me to get my own place so they could downsize--they bought a bungalow. Tania left home a couple of years earlier.? Monica turned to look up at him. ?You will bring her home, won?t you??
Thank you, dear friend. You are a lovely lady. Warm hugs, Sandra xxx

I really liked how you added the medical information to make Tania's injuries more realistic. Also, her coming to the end of herself resulting in prayer is really good. Hopefully, the rescue team will get to Tania before or at the same time as Colin does. Great work on this!

Thank you, Helen, for this lovely review. I'm glad you said that about the medical info. One reviewer thought I'd overdone that bit, but I left it in. So thank you for that. :)) Thank you, my friend! Warm hugs, Sandra xxx

Excellent chapter, my lady!! I guess we're all now cheering for Lorna now since everything rests on her idea... Go Lorna!! :) ;) Another wonderful chapter that's got us hanging on the edge of our seats out here... great job! ;) Yvette

Thank you so much, Yvette. Almost there, then the real story begins!! Sorry I'm still slow at reponding and reviewing, my friend. My shingles are still being unkind. I'll be gradually catching up. How are you doing? Stay safe, my friend. Warm hugs, Sandra xxx

I wonder if Colin did think ahead. Bullying someone is one thing, killing them is another. He can't have thought he could let her go afterwards. I'd like to know what he was thinking.

Thank you so much for reading this part, Cindy. In the chapter after he'd kidnapped her, Colin's thoughts were he'd wait until after he'd got what he wanted before deciding what he'd do with her. Obviously there is only one thing he can do after everything he's done. But.... Now, you will have to read on to find out what happens next!! Lol. Warm hugs, my friend. Sandra xxx

Another chapter of pleasurable reading. You continue to write with clarity and passion. The feeling a reader felt when immerse in the description of your character's pain and suspense your story has at its ending.

Well I do hope Grant comes up with a good plan so they can follow Colin back and rescue Tania, and then I think they should be the crap out of Colin. =] That's what I'd do. =] Well done as always dear.

Hello Sandra, another good chapter did not see your usual cliff-hanger ending. What I find amazing is, despite the hammering Tania has been taking from Colin, she seems remarkably buoyant. How much can a young woman take? ''I need a solid reason that will ensure he has to consult Tania, and in so doing, lead us to where it is he's keeping her prisoner.' Would Colin fall for this I wonder? Tania also shows a lot of spunk when she remarks to herself about her badly swollen eye 'I'll soon have a matching pair' - I try to imagine what state I'd be in and I, in no way could be like Tania. Well done Sandra - hope your problems are improving and the pain receding. Love and best wishes - Dorothy xxx

I've had varying thoughts on how much a woman can take, in fact one of my reviewers was in an accident and had the same injuries that Tania has. I think with most people the strong survival instinct all humans and animals have, overcomes the pain until they are either murdered or rescued. My pain threshold is minus zero, yet another reviewer said hers was very high. It's amazing how many readers I've had for this book who can relate in some way or other with Tania. (Apart from the kidnapping.) Keep reading, Dorothy, this part of the story is almost at its end, then the real story takes over.
My shingles are still with me, but not quite so painful, I've been dressed in nothing but loose nightdresses for ages now. I still can't bear anything touching that part. Once they've gone I'm booking in for the anti-shingles vaccine. This is the second time I've had them and it's going to be the last!!
Thank you so much for your detailed review, my friend, I really appreciated it. Warm hugs, and lots of love. Sandra xxx

Of course I'll stay with you! Sorry about shingles - it does take time. It never goes away apparently, but it usually remains dormant - keep smiling - I'm sure you will. You are that type - Dxxx

This was an amazing continuation chapter, Sandra. In the beginning Grant had the brilliant idea to pull Lorna into the investigation, to alert her to any possible discrepancies. Then you switch to Tania and her genuine fear of Colin. Then to Monica who was hoping for good news. Wonderfully done, and such an easy transition from one to the other. Very well done, very much enjoyed. I eagerly await the next chapter. Hugs, smiles and blessings. So how are the shingles doing?

Thank you so much, Alie. You always give me such encouraging reviews. This book is the first time I've written using the pov of each player. It has given me more freedom. I'm so glad you think I've done well. :)) We are closing in fast, and then the real story begins!! Warm hugs, dear friend. :)) Sandra xx

You are so very welcome, Sandra, it is easy to get caught up with the characters. Well done. Hugs, blessings my friend.

Hi Sandra,
this is progressing nicely. Good transitions between each scene here, catching up with the key players. Nicely done.
'Lorna had similar thoughts. I just couldn't see Colin doing anything to harm Tania; he's only got water in his veins, no gumption at all. But who knows what desperation will do to a man? He's past the point of no return by kidnapping. How much further he'll go if he does have her plans, I don't know. - need closing speech marks here.
. Please, can you help me God.'- may need a question mark here, not sure.
All the best

Oh gosh I can feel Tania's pain. I had a fractured rib and you can't take deep breaths and lie comfortably or even laugh, it's so painfully. I fell in March and severely broke my left elbow. Until I had surgery to stabilize it, any movement was excruciating. And on top of all that her eyes are swollen limiting her vision. I think she totally has the right to have a pity party! I'm glad that Grant is keeping Monica in the loop. He could have been arrogant and figured he was handling it and not give her a second thought.
Another delightful Sunday read. Hope you're starting to feel a little better. I had my shingles vaccine last year after hearing of too many people's horror stories. My husband had his several years ago but the newer vaccine is more effective so he redid it.
Have a lovely week.

Goodness me, Sally! You could be my protagonist!! Do you draw??? Broken elbow, broken ribs!! Yes, you definitely qualify for Monica's position! How are your ribs and elbow now? A lot better, I hope?
Thank you so very much for another lovely review, and all the wonderful stars, I really appreciate you, my dear friend.
I will definitely be having the shingles vaccine once this is over with. I had it a few years ago and didn't think I could get it again, boy was I wrong. This will be the second and last time! It's good to know it works. Thanks again, my friend. Warm hugs. Sandra xxxx
