Is he the leprechaun who tosses us virtual certificates and coinage? This is a delightful bit of whimsy--a refreshing twist on the profound (obscure?)metaphors.

Just lovely, Yvette. The first thing that I saw was (omg, "saw" is "was" spelled backwards--just saw that!!!), a pot of gold buried by the wiley leprchaun in the bog at the rainbows end. Even under the surface, the gold is colorful.
Beautiful addition to renga book!

Wow!!!

I love how your poem is very short, yet its so fun to read!!! I have not been active on FS much, because my mom banned me from extra screen and reading time (my eyes are giving me too much trouble, starting to hurt from staring at a book or screen for too long).

Yet, here I am, commenting on your poem in secret! I love your writing soo much, and it is always so fun to read!!!!

Oh, Tanvi - so good to hear from you, Beautiful Girl - missed that smile! And thank you, THANK YOU for those lovely stars!! ;) :)
I'm glad you've been okay, but remember: all the additional screen time (phone, tablets, and computer) is VERY hard on the eyes and you should be sure that your 'blue light filter' is active on all your devices 24 hours a day -- it will help prevent that eye strain that you're experiencing. :) ;) ;)
Thanx again for my 'secret stars' -- they are WONDERFUL!! Happy Halloween! ;) ;)

Yep, school's ruining my eyesight! I try to not use too many electronics during the weekends, but problem is, the ONLY thing I do when I have nothing else to do is reading/writing, both which I do on my laptop. But luckily, I'm going to the eye doctor tomorrow, so after that I can use electronics all I want! :)

This is a very wistful presentation. The rainbow, I take it, is the colorful safe of the leprechaun. It is a very magical and beautiful scene and blends well with the words.

Thank you for adding to the Renga book. I enjoyed your 5-7-5 and magical picture. I could hear the "babbling" of the brook and the leprachaun! Smiles- Joan

A wise Leprechaun knows where to hide his treasure Yvette, inside this beautiful scene where the rainbow meets the brook, a fine ambient post, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

You have made excellent use of your seventeen syllables in this delightful, whimsical piece about keeping treasure safe. Personification and alliteration lend extra flair.
